Beautiful 10'' light weight pandeiro - perfect harmony between all sound components!
New version with aluminium rim; with this feature, the weight has been reduced by 80g to just under 400g. Pizzott’s pandeiro skins go through a special tanning procedure. As a result the skins look more rustical and produce absolutely fantastic sound! The heads appear lively, you can literally see the handcraft glowing in the instrument. The jingles are hand-hammered brass with an interleaf of zinc sheet between each pair. This extraordinary combination of materials creates a homogeneous and utterly perfect relation within the sound components skin and jingles. Also the pandeiro is very light weighing only 480 g. All those tempting characteristics make it an absolute favourite, you might not want to put it down again. Tension hoop is made of round material! Top sound, harmonic and well sounding interconnected materials, superlight and beautifully handcrafted! The ideal pandeiro for Chorinho, traditional Samba and the Marcos Suzano technique!

This is a relatively light
This is a relatively light weight, choro style pandeiro with very nice craftsmanship and smooth sounding brass platinelas. The goatskin head is satisfactory but not great. I also have the 11" Pizzott which, if had too, would choose in preference to the 10" - and put a goatskin head on it. The 11" is fairly heavy, but has a more solid, powerful sound. The 10" is a good choice though, for any player.

das Instrument liegt perfekt in meiner Hand, ist sehr leicht, hat ein tolles Fell und produziert einen nuancenreichen Sound. Fell- und Schellenklang ist sehr gut zueinander abgestimmt.
