Handmade Pandeiro Black in 10" by Georg Pandeiros
The frame is made of Freijo wood, stained in a dark finish and lacquered, with hand-hammered brass jingles, stainless steel flatrim, nickel-plated steel hooks. Beautiful, warm sound qualities and outstanding wood finish. Weight approx. 350g (weight, colour and grain may vary with natural materials), natural goatskin skin.
Directly from the Luthiers kitchen in São Gonçalo do Rio das Pedras in Minas Gerais, where Georg Joos, a German carpenter and accomplished pandeiro maker, lives and builds these high-quality, lightweight pandeiros with a magnificent and versatile sound.
We are delighted with the combination of European quality workmanship and Brazilian understanding of pandeiro-building and the authentic sound characteristics that a good pandeiro must have.
