11“ Pandeiro Nogueira with double hooks - afinação dupla
One size up please! Strong but light sounding nylon head pandeiro with double hooks for voluminous, high-pitched pandeiro sounds! Ideal for solo players, stage gigs or Pagode sessions, the double hooks enable you to pitch up high like the original carioca style. 11“ pandeiros naturally come with a topped-up sound due to their larger frame, bigger diameter and the respectively larger head. Crispy slaps and brilliant open tones make it a perfect companion for modern styles like Samba Funk, Embolada or fusion styles with Hip Hop elements, but also the classic Samba sessions will be delighted to have you with this instrument. If you have large hands, an 11“ pandeiro is also worth a thought. Rozini have earnt their name in the Samba scene by making mainly luthier work and building top class string instruments like cavaquinhos, bandolims and Brazilian guitars. Only recently they decided to transfer their knowledge of wood instrument construction to making beautiful percussion instruments of convincing quality and very authentic sound.
Brand description "Rozini"
In Brazil, people not only play drums and percussion:
The most common instrument is probably the acoustic guitar. No matter if traditional 6-string guitar or like preferred in Samba and Choro with 7 strings, ROZINI has the righ instruments.
ROZINI also offers bandolins or the viola caipira, a 10-string instrument which is very popular in Brazil, and of course a large variety of Cavaquinhos. The little allrounder is suitable for (almost) every music style: you can play it in any Samba session in a small round, the Samba de mesa, when accompaning a big Samba school, or as a virtuoso solo instrument playing Choro. The cavaquinho is a small instrument with endless possibilities.
ROZINI was born as a result of an association of various luthiers and is nowadays one of the largest and renowned producers of stringed instruments of Brazil. The instruments are handmade in serie-production in São Paulo.
