Handmade high-end 10" pandeiro from Freijo wood, made in Minas Gerais - selected goatskins with artisan hardware elements
One of our absolute favourites in our range - an affordable hand-made pandeiro with wonderful sound characteristics and lovely finish!
Beautiful artisan pandeiros from São Gonçalo do Rio das Pedras in Minas Gerais, made by Georg Joos, a German carpenter and accomplished pandeiro maker who lives in Brazil and builds these very high quality pandeiros with a great and versatile sound.
We are thrilled about the combination of European quality workmanship and Brazilian understanding of luthier work and passion for authentic sound characteristics that a pandeiro in this range must bring with.
All skins are medium thick and vibrate well, have nice bass qualities as well as a variety of sound characteristics that can be found all across the Brazilian music genre. This pandeiro is esthetically stunning, with a frame of dark and light wood layers. The jingles are hand-hammered of high-quality brass, each with a cut interleaf, also brass. The hand-made flatrim is made of stainless steel and fits perfectly on the goat skin, which is individually chosen with great care and fitted to the frame. At only 360g, this model is one of our ultra-light pandeiros with exceptional sound characteristics, in particular suitable for Samba Choro and MPB music. Where you hold the pandeiro, there is a narrow, soft-sanded tiny bar which allows for more comfort and grip when playing.
- with tuning key
- with allen key to remove the jingles
- small comfort bar made of soft-sanded and rounded wood

High-quality pandeiro with medium skin thickness for a bassy sound, versatile use and unbeatable value for money!
