In his former life, BIRA was a lawyer. He took a pandeiro course with Marcos Suzano – and immediately caught fire. Not only did he develop his passion for playing the pandeiro, but also for the instrument itself.
Soon he started building his own pandeiros. Very neatly elaborated frames, thick goat skins and a brilliant jingle sound are his trademark.

All pandeiros are handmade!
